The relationships we have with the parents in our community is of utmost importance to us. We collaborate on a number of issues such as class sizes, nutrition and education policy. Our location managers and Parent Committee members (PC) meet regularly to discuss and refine daily childcare practices or to review changes in legislation or standards. The interaction is a vital part of sustaining the quality of our organisation.
We make every effort to build and maintain strong relationships with the PC with clear communication on expectations from both sides, involving parents in decision making where appropriate and regular, open feedback. We continue to learn from each other and to create support in an effort to give the best possible opportunities to the children at Big Ben Kids.
